Fun in the Sun!

We have been totally enjoying this amazing weather. Coulter is so focused on learning how to walk and he wants to explore every square inch of the house and the dirty laundry basket and the dog's water, being able to take him on weekend adventures allows us to tire him out and keep him from playing in the silverware drawer.

Here are a few photos from Sunday at Jamison Park in Portland and a few of Coulter and dad watching Sesame Street on YouTube.

Le Petit Gastronome

Coulter has been introduced to some new and exciting foods lately. His favorites so far include duck egg and blue cheese omelets and blueberry/banana smoothies a la Anne and Daddy's homemade pesto pasta. Mom seems to make some pretty good toasted sunflower butter sandwiches (but we all know Mom isn't really the cook in this house). He has moved from cow's milk to goat's milk, which seems to agree with his belly. As always, sweet potato french fries and veggie nuggets are staples.

Coulter's taste buds seem to be changing almost does his emerging personality. He has become much more assertive (I think that's what they call it now..) in the past few weeks. Letting you know when he is done or when he wants more...very clearly..the sign language is a big help here. He also wants to walk on his own, but isn't quite there yet which I think he finds frustrating. We have had a few head bonks around here and I know as Coulter learns to walk, we will have many more slips, trips, and falls.

It's summertime...

and strawberries are being consumed in the Seidell house by the ton!
